Renting a car in Sanur: what to know
Sanur faces east, so this is where the sunrise is — and that changes our hours. A five-in-the-morning pickup is unremarkable here, whether for sunrise on the beach or to catch the first boat to Nusa Penida from a harbour five minutes from most hotels. Before that first boat the harbour area fills with passengers and porters, so the driver sets you down before the gate and then finds parking. Otherwise Sanur is the calmest area to drive in southern Bali.
